报告简介:
Our research focuses on the development of bi- and polyfunctional covalent and mechanically interlocked frameworks. In this context, we are currently pursuing the synthesis of bis- and tris-1,1´-binaphthyl-phosphoric acids using different strategies. On one hand, we perform a covalent coupling of 1,1´-binaphthyls via the 3,3´- or 4,4´-positions to give bis- and trisphosphates of different geometry. On the other hand, we are investigating the incorporation of 1,1´-binaphthyl-phosphoric acids in interlocked catenane- or rotaxanestructures, thus resulting in bifunctional interlocked molecules.
The resulting bisphosphates are investigated with regard their application as ditopic artificial receptors and as bifunctional organocatalysts. This will allow a comparison of the effects of the different linking strategies, evaluating whether a rigid predefined geometry or a more flexible interlocked arrangement is of advantage for the different applications of these bifunctional molecules.
